On 12/31/2008, Tony Brooke assisted the live recording of Fantômas at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. This was released in 2011 as the DVD and album "The Director's Cut Live (A New Year's Revolution)."
Fantômas was formed by singer Mike Patton after Faith No More broke up. The band included Melvins guitarist Buzz Osborne, Melvins drummer Dale Crover and Mr. Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn.
