Tony Brooke has recorded Kermit Ruffins a few times:

On 5/2/1994 Silent Way recorded (and broadcast on WWOZ-FM) a show at Tower Records in New Orleans. On the bill were Tony DaGradi trio with Johnny Vidacovich and James Singleton, Kermit Ruffins and the Barbeque Swingers, Zion Harmonizers, Hackberry Ramblers, and Bluerunners. On 5/3/1995, Tony Brooke recorded The Tremè Brass Band with Kermit on trumpet at the Louisiana Music Factory in New Orleans during the "3rd Annual Brass Band Blowout." Read more on that recording here.
