Help! My ADAT LX-20 is stuck in Error 01

I just bought a couple off Ebay and thought they were working ok until I unpacked a SVHS tape and got the error 01. Tape won't eject. Popped the top and everything looks fine, nothing nasty that I can see. I was thinking about disconnecting/reconnecting the wiring harness which goes to the mode switch and see where that gets me but I thought I'd throw up a Hail Mary first....

Does anybody know what procedure to follow to dislodge the tape? (either via hidden functions or manually) I've tried the reinit to no avail, etc.

I'm combing the Internet and not finding anything which seems to help. The machine has 600 hours on it and looks pretty well taken care of, but you never know. I'm trying to avoid taking it in, especially since I haven't put any time on it yet.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Well, nobody has posted anything so I thought I'd share what I did to solve the problem. First, I dismantled my ADAT like a technician. I discovered a neat little widget on the bottom side of the circuit board which had popped clean of it's solder joint. So I soldered it and prayed it was the problem. But to be sure, so I didn't have to go thru this again... I started to think like a computer... what could I do to fool the machine? I then gingerly extracted all the tape from the cassette... hoping it would trigger some kind of sensor, etc and eject the tape. Along the disassembly route I also disconnected all wiring harnesses, inspected and reconnected.

I'd like to think the component repair was the solution but you never know. The tape did eject after reassembly and the unit is working well again. I may take it in anyways for service as I just bought this unit on Ebay and who knows how well it was taken care of.
