new to an old format.......help!
I've just purchased a da38 and da88 to upgrade my format from a 238.yes I know it's upgrading to an old school thang, but I am in a lower class of my own.Just looking for help on what I need to do to sync the two together for 16 tracks.I'm using a mackie 16x8 and I assume I will have to use the direct outs for the 9-16 tracks for recording all tracks at the same time, is this the case?any help would be wonderful!
Not tough or expensive to lock the 88 and 38 together as one system... The only cable needed is the PW-88S male-to-male 15-pin sync cable:

If it's a Mackie 8-bus mixer you can use direct outs or the busses. Check out their hookup guide:

Or, if it's an older Mackie mixer, go here:

Never let anyone say you're low class!! Whatever you can afford is the best!
