I've been using a yamaha o2r mixer for the past year. The mixer is very useful but i am looking for a way to utilize 24-bit audio without using the bit split feature. I've seen info online stating that it is possible to transfer 24-bit data via aes/ebu and tdif. Other info says that it is only possible with the tdif-II cards. On this site I've come across some information on regarding the the tdif interface cards for the o2r. I would like to know if anyone knows for certain if the tdif cards can transfer 24-bit info and if only the tdif-II card or both the tdif-I and tdif-II card are capable. I've located a few tdif-I cards and would like to be certain before I make the purchase. Thanks in advance for any help.
