"OpenBroadcaster is a free ubuntu linux automation software system to manage radio, television, digital signage and cable TV channels. Media asset management solution for broadcast streaming automation (via touch screen web-based community management) exchanges dynamic user-generated content and schedules between remote on-air Radio and TV transmitters."

"OpenBroadcaster enables authorized community and audience members to use LIVE Assist tools to manage local programming on any internet connection controlling multiple 'channel in a box' broadcast transmitters and streams. Local audience customizes formats, requests content online, generates dynamic audio playlists with image slideshows and selects theme based segments. Authorized users utilize emergency communication system to upload, priority schedule broadcast intrusive digitized emergency audio and visual messages via the Internet without the need of having personnel in the control room."

"OpenBroadcaster has two versions of software, the open source Community Edition and commercial Enterprise Edition, that share a body of source code. Community Edition uses the AGPLv3 open source license that lets us offer our software to all who wish to use, modify and distribute it freely... Enterprise Edition is available under a traditional commercial software license. Enterprise Edition includes centralized provisioning and management beyond Community Edition that makes it suitable for scaled deployment. It is available with full support, documentation and consulting services."
