CENATIC is Centro Nacional de Referencia de Aplicación de las Tecnologías de Información y la Comunicación, (National Center for the Application of Information Technologies and Communication based on Open Source; or Spanish National Competence Center for the Application of Open Source Technologies), "a strategic project of the Government of Spain to promote awareness and use of free software and/or open source in all areas of society, with special attention to public administrations, businesses, the technology sector provider and/or user of free technologies, and development communities."
