In May of 2000, Tony Brooke and the Billy Talbot Band set up in a barn in Mendocino to record the studio album "Alive In The Spirit World." Wanting to recreate the feeling of a live show, Billy and the Band played with full stage monitors at their feet. The resultant sound was the best of both worlds: raw live energy with studio quality.
