Tony Brooke has over twenty-six years of experience since 1984 as live event emcee, voice actor, FM radio on-air personality, performing DJ (as DJ Appropriate), trivia quiz host, singer and stage actor. He has also worked in every stage of music creation and broadcasting: as a producer, audio engineer, FM program director, DJ, webcaster, webmaster, technology advocate, teacher and musician. Voice Talent

Tony is an experienced professional voice talent, with a diverse array of styles, including "Smarmy TV Announcer Guy," "Race Track Crowd Hype Dude," "Radio DJ Man," "Skeptical Husband," "Reassuring Mellow Dad" and more. Emcee Work

Weekly host of Brainstormer Pub Quizzes since September 2004 at many venues in the Bay Area: Danny Coyle's, Rogue Ale House, Elephant and Castle, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Henry's, O'Neill's, An Bodhran, The Elixir and more. That's over four hundred evenings of announcements, questions, DJing, improv riffing and crowd control.

Emcee for many events and stage shows, including The Spanganga Closing Night SpangBang, "Quiz For Change," "Bad Movie Night" at The Darkroom, corporate events, holiday parties, weddings etc.

Acting

Many stage roles: "Viva Karaoke"; Inspector Hound in "The Real Inspector Hound" (Tom Stoppard); "Lysistrata" (Aristophanes), many variety show bits including remake of "Bing and Bowie's Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy".

Narration

Radio News Anchor for Broadcast Services For The Blind (1992-93). Hosted the Rose Resnick Lighthouse For The Blind's "East Bay Focus" news reading service, on the In Touch Network.

Other
