Rock and Pop

On 4/11/2012, Tony Brooke recorded Train at the Great American Music Hall, assisted by Andrew Keating.

Six tracks from this live recording (three video and three audio) were released on "California 37: Deluxe Edition" in December 2012 in Germany and the United Kingdom. The release included a CD and a DVD.

Three audio tracks were released on "California 37: Mermaids of Alcatraz Tour Edition" in June 2013.

In July 2014, "Drive By" from the 2012 recording was released on the B-side of the single "Angel In Blue Jeans" (released in Germany, Austria, & Switzerland).

In September 2014, Train released the EP "Live In San Francisco" with five tracks from the 2012 recording. The EP was available as a limited edition bonus with the album "Bulletproof Picasso."

Tony recorded Train again on September 21st and 22nd, 2014, at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco (assisted by Andrew Keating). These tracks were used as additional multitrack playback elements during future live shows.

Tony's system for these projects was a 48-track RADAR V system, recording at 24bit/96k. Mic preamps were by Millennia Media, ATI and Focusrite. Audience mics were Neumann km184 and Earthworks QTC30MP.
